Diverse in appearence, ranging from tiny flowers, to giant orge like monsters. Often unkept, naked or dressed awkardly. Habitis are similar to their cousins the brownies or hobgoblins.

They usually look like beautiful humans,riding-horses and bearing old-fashined weapons, like swords. often accompied by many tiny faeries called sprites. And lead by larger ones called Heroic Faeries. They have a hiearchial sturture resembling fuedalism eg. Oberian and Titana, or Queen Mab

The word fairy itself stems from the old french Fae or Fay (Fairy) which is derived from the classical Fatae or the Fates. Not that this trio of goddesses beget the entire genus of Fairies, the connection is only linguistic.
